Dr. Litz became assistant principal of GFES in July of 2017. Prior to becoming the assistant principal, he taught 1^st and 4^th grade, served as a Physical Education teacher and was a Summer School Principal.

Dr. Litz grew up in Bel Air, Maryland and attended Goucher College in Towson, Maryland where he earned his Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Dr. Litz then earned his Master’s, Educational Specialist, and Doctorate from Old Dominion University.

Dr. Litz enjoys spending time with his son Max, his wife, and their cat Barnie. When not at school, his favorite things to do are to exercise, watch the Baltimore Ravens, and spend time with his family.
